RCC students
Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion
Placement in Symphony Orchestra is based upon RCC concert band audition materials. You can learn more by sending an email to professor Kevin Mayse.

Strings
Membership into the string section is by in-person audition. Auditions will be held on the Wednesday evening prior to the first week of classes of each semester at the RCC Coil School of the Arts. To reserve an audition spot, email Dr. Gene Moon.

Fall 2026: August 19, 2026, 7 pm
Spring 2027: February 10, 2027, 7 pm

High School students
High School student instrumentalists who wish to be considered for a position in the RCC Symphony Orchestra must present an in-person audition. Auditions will be held on the Wednesday evening prior to the first week of classes of each semester at the RCC Coil School of the Arts. To reserve an audition spot, email Dr. Gene Moon.
